About WSH Yoga
WSH Yoga was created to make meeting new people in the neighborhood feel natural. We host community experiences centered around movement and breath — designed to bring people together in a relaxed, welcoming environment. No experience required.
In a city that moves fast, and in a time when so much connection happens through screens, swipes, and surface-level interactions, we wanted to create something different.
WSH Yoga is about purpose. A portion of every gathering supports local NYC organizations doing meaningful work in our communities.
We believe social spaces can be both fun and impactful.

Why I Started This
I started WSH Yoga because I was craving a different kind of social space.
When I think about the strongest friendships in my life, they’ve almost always been formed through shared experiences — work, fitness, school, travel, volunteering, trainings — moments where we were doing something together. In a city as amazing as New York, it’s surprisingly easy to feel isolated. So many ways of connecting revolve around drinking, networking, or scrolling, so I wanted to create something different.
I’ve been practicing yoga for nearly a decade and completed my 200-hour teacher training at New Love City in Brooklyn, later continuing my yoga studies with a Dharma Yoga certification.
WSH Yoga is my way of creating the conditions for connection, and rooted in something meaningful.
