Run Club Energy, But Without the Running
Run clubs are having a major moment in NYC, especially in the West Village. It’s hard not to notice the waves of people moving together through the neighborhood, and I love it. There’s something powerful about that kind of shared energy and people showing up consistently, moving their bodies, encouraging each other and building community in a city that can sometimes feel anonymous. Except I don’t really run much. And I know not everyone loves to run but wants that same feeling. And even the runners? They definitely need to stretch.
West Side Highway Yoga was created with that same spirit in mind. Gathering outdoors along the West Side Highway for light fitness, yoga, and breathwork that feels good and also social. It’s still movement but at a slower pace. Just space to move, reset, and then talk to the person next to you.
Whether you come after your run or instead of it, you’re welcome here. Come alone or bring your friends — either way, you’ll find space to move and connect with new people.
Meet through movement.
